Been working on juggling the Flail and Morning Star in the midst of combat. The difference in shield attacks and weapon speed seems to confuse opponents sometimes. With luck, it can be done subtly, and after a few Flail swings no one expects a quick poke in the eye.
Okay, it’s been about a month since I picked up the Grand Mace.
Nowadays, it’s my “go to” weapon against Knights. It’s a pretty well rounded weapon, once I got the hang of it.
Aye, Vanguards with pole arms are hard to fight- and Men at Arms are mostly too quick to hit…but that’s where the secondary weapons come in.
I think that the G Mace does best against a crowd.
Shield + norse in vanilla is so cheap lmao, if the guy know how to be ultimate cheap master with this setup there is no other way around, you unavoidably will have to read his stab feint sooner o latter. Otherwise you gamble with footwork, gamble with attacks, gamble gamble gamble, not reliable and you will get rekt. Halberd is to slow, zweihander as well. Skillhook I find it more suitable for the excessive gambling you will have to do, maybe brandistupid is gud too. Ahh gambling with backswings of course, you gotta do that as well.
So yeah, get rekt by the shield cunt, or play mercs. Its better b0lonce there and you can reliably fuck with these twats without gambling like its fucking Las Vegas. In vanilla they will trade and feint your ass to doom.
Of course this is all in duels, on teamplay they are useless and shouldn’t be a problem tbh, just avoid fighting them alone
Blast! I forgot to add in stuff about crouching. Fair enough about the feints, although I only started feinting at 1000+ hours. Some players definitely do crutch on it, and those players are usually not able to read feints at all.
