Empty Server Browser - Alternative Fix

After a fresh Windows install, my server browser stopped working.
I fixed it turning Task Offload OFF in the network adapter advanced settings.

My network adapter: Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet
OS: Windows 8 Pro x64

The fix also works for some other games (like ARMA 2 / DayZ / DayZ Commander).
