I know a lot of people probably play metal music while they play this game, which is understandable. But you haven’t fully experienced C:MW unless you’re running down the field, sword in hand, ready to thrust right into your opponent as you sing Marvin Gaye songs.
Just listen to any love song and you’ll start to see the game, and even maybe some of your opponents in a whole new way.
WHAT IS LOVE!? BABY DON’T HURT ME! DON’T HURT ME, NO MORE! head bobs until head gets sliced off

Berserk anime soundtrack (might be just personal love for the series, but some of them fit really nice!)
Spartacus blood & sand soundtrack
Gladiator soundtrackAlso various songs of Three Steeps From Hell
-
The original sound track. Sir Loin worked very hard on it and would probably be upset that you didn’t like his chorus of screams.

I really REALLY gotta buy that someday soon…

The soundtracks for all the Spartacus seasons are running in the background for me currently.
Sometimes I also use music from the movie Troy and the series Game of Thrones.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Radio - Pandora Thriftshop!!!

Some of the Naruto songs are actually quite bad ass, even though I hate that show with a passion.

I was surprised coming here and not seeing Manowar in every post.

Still listening to girly j-pop.

And don’t I wish that there was more of it! It’s a shame that there’s very little music during gameplay of some levels (at least that I had noticed).
I’d love some battle music in there.
This is like melodic black metal, if that’s even a possibility, and I love it during big fights:

The Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack has some really good battle music. However, you’d probably have to weed out some of the songs.

Anything other than metal is the wrong answer

I think lots of pagan music goes quite well with this game, or any medieval/fantasy game for that matter. I get the best results with the following: Omnia, Faun, Sava, Corvus Corax, Hednigarna and some songs from Dead can Dance. Also Conan the barbarian OST by Basil Poledouris is pretty good choice, especially the Anvil of Crom and Riddles of steel always manage to give me buff in terms of heroism :D

Getting a double decap with a billhook when :43 strikes creates brain gasms beyond imagination.
Anything seems to work with this game though. It just has such good pacing with music that even the downtime feels like a wind up to something excellent.Hell even the blades of grass in the main menu bounce to the pulse of the Chivalry theme.
