Feigning with RMB
-
I’m a M&B veteran and I’m used to feigning and stopping swings with my right mouse button, I believe a large portion of the M&B fan base will try out this game so an option to replace Q with RMB, without having to switch my “block” to another key would be grand.
-
So basically you want block to cancel an initiated swing. Thats actually a lot more intuitive than having them on 2 seperate buttons, I agree.
-
We will test this internally before next patch, seems like a potentially good idea.
-
Awsome, hopefully it’s as good as it sounds.
-
I also hope this is going to be included.
Sounds a lot more intuitive to me.Plus it would make hitting firends much less frequent.
-
Yep, feigning is a key feature in melee combat in M&B. Some people are so good at it they can fight off dozens of opponents by themselves. I really like this to be included in Chivalry.
-
It is included, but block and feign are mapped to 2 seperate keys instead of the one key doing both actions, thats what we are talking about here.
-
being able to bind 2 separate keys to a function would be very nice, i know a bunch of games like doing it.

It depends what the action is, I know in a lot of console ports it infuriates me that sprint and take cover are on the same key, but I think in this case having block and faint on the same key doesn’t cause conflicts and will make the game a bit more intuitive to play.

Came here to post this idea, and found this thread. So. I concur!

good idea ;)
