Shield disappears when unused

Hello!
I played today and my shield behaved huh… quite weirdly

As soon as I don’t use it it disappears. And no protection, it’s not simply “invisible”. :?

Yeah, I noticed that too. It’s a small thing but for some reason it annoys the hell out of me :D

I’ve also experienced this quite often.
I can usually fix it in-game by switching weapons around until it appears on my back, but that’s only if I notice that the shield is missing and even then it’s irritating to have to fix.

Unfortunately this bug is still present, even after the most recent patch. :?

Correct me if I’m wrong but the bug only exists for the Kite Shield, doesn’t it?
Tower Shield works perfectly fine for me.
Even though in 1st person my shadow doesn’t have a shield on its back, if I switch to 3rd person it does.
Really annoying, kinda ruins the immersion. :p

…Yeah I think tower shields work fine, at least I haven’t seen it happening with tower shields so far.
