Warband Layout

REACTION SPEEDS WILL STILL STAY THE SAME!!!
Step 1 : Make a Goal of money you need to make this Layout
Step 2 : The warband Layout
Suggestions will be in ()
I Made it So if you used this method it wouldn’t fuck up the current game Mechanics And you could still use Q = Fient , LMB = Attack , RMB Block
LMB Release = attack All 4 Directions Instead of Scroll Wheels
RMB during attack = Interrupt Attack
RMB = Block
RMB Quick Tap = Takes the Place of QHow to use Directional Layout!
1. Move You’re mouse to Directions ( Attack / Block ) If you move you’re Mouse Vertical Mostlikly it won’t Register the correct attack

Warbands controls suck. Go play wotr if you want those controls. If you didn’t notice chivalry isn’t made by paradox.
-
gB, that was a little unnecessarily hostile. Telling people to go play WotR doesn’t exactly help the devs out.
-
Don’t play wotr! ;)

Much better

Neither are Warband or WotR. They’re published by Paradox, but they’ve been made by TaleWorlds and Fatshark respectively.
Not that I entirely disagree with you, I liked Warband’s controls but I don’t think they would work with Chivalry’s combat system. Current controls are fine, only dodge needs its own button and feint and block should be on one button, rather than two separate ones.

Also there should be a way to control the direction of your first attack in a combo. I.E. starting with an upwards slash with the bardiche/billhook/halberd instead of an overhead or slashing from left->right instead of right->left. Implement that + block to feint/zoom, alt to dodge/projectile follow, and we’re golden.

I agree with those two green-named people.
