He did decap one person. He always dismembered some others. You should watch it again more closely :)

Ok, the truth is, the developers lied about dismemberment and it’s not in the game but only in the trailer !

decapitations aren’t the most common thing, you have to hit someone in the neck with enough damage to kill them. they do happen, just not all the time as most people don’t aim for the head/neck with a sword.

Short answer, its his first time playing, he isn’t proficient enough to get decapitations that often.
