okay so you guys know about that big update that was supposed to balance out the game? well it balanced it in the sense that i cant play D: . after my game updated it would open for a second show the torn banner logo then go back to being minimized . i’ve tried all the tricks i know to get a game working. ive validated the steam cache and ive re installed it . still no luck . please help me

Any custom configuration options? Try deleting your configs in Documents\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config. (You should be able to safely leave UDKGame.ini and UDKInput.ini to avoid resetting your keybinds).

just did that and still my game is messed up, its something with the update. i cant play in fullscreen mode

Two reports thusfar. Please post the log and dxdiag.
DXDiag: If you do not know how to get your DXDiag, press Start button, type DXDiag in search bar and open up the program it shows. Click run then save results as .txt file and add it to your post.
Launch Log: To find your launch file, go to My Documents then to My Games then to Chivalry then UDKGame then go to Log folder. You’ll find your launch.log file and add it to your post.
Did you try the Beta? Can you try it right now and see if it works? We had no reports of this issue during the beta, and this build should be nearly identical to the last beta.

When you play windowed, are there any issues? Do servers still show in the browser, for instance?

And just for good measure: Using any security/firewall/antivirus software? I mean, even if it’s installed and not “running”.

also i only have my windows firewall but that has never been a problem. i was able to play the last beta patch and i havnt tried the new one. in windowed mode theres no real difference to the game other then im in a window lol .

Are you sure that’s the right log? You tried to load up FFA Moor in it.
