Why won't Chivalry: Medieval Warfare open?

I just bought Chivalry during the sale and after downloading it, I launched it. Although, it just froze on this screen. http://gyazo.com/d05f5ef3dedbf1f8496aeedea04beaf9 I’ve closed it and opened it several times now but It won’t go past that window. I haven’t had many problems with buying games from steam and I own CSS, Garry’s Mod, Killing Floor, Team Fortress and Terraria. Please help.
