What new objectives do you want to see?

  • Obviously TB should focus on bug fixing right now, but what new objectives in TO do you want to see? Personally I would love a catapult objective, Masons launching dead diseased cows/bodies into Agathian territory and spreading a plague.

  • Sapping a wall and blowing it up with blackpowder then fighting over control of the breach. One side has to light the fuse on a huge deposit of black powder that has been packed under a section of the wall, the other side has to defend against it and can pinch out the fuse.

Night raid by Mason’s, local Mason sympathisers open the gates for Mason forces who swarm into the city/town.

Full blown siege mode. Siege towers, trebuchets, battering rams, scaling ladders.

The fabled extension to Battlegrounds with additional objective added after destroying the gate.

Mountain pass, both sides have to tug o war style battle over the pass and to win they must cause an avalanche that destroys the enemy encampment.

Beach landing. First objective is Agathian longboats spearhead the assault on a dock or a beach front to a city. Mason’s are given several war machines to play with like ballista, catapults and trebuchets which they can use to fire at incoming boats. First objective is mostly just a bit of fun to have before the real fighting starts where Agathian’s land and have to take the siege engines by force before they can assault the city.

A city under siege where the defenders sally forth and rush down to disrupt and capture the siege lines. Trench fighting can happen here and a sudden deluge turns the battlefield into a mud pit.

    More kill the VIP scenarios.

  • I always wanted an “escort the king” kind of thing.

It could be cool. You have to escort the king (or whoever) along a track-like level, kind of like the dark woods. The defenders are given some areas to ambush. Maybe have a palisade wall that you have to take down with a catapult or something in there, but victory is getting the king (or whoever) to the end.

You could make a ton of maps like these relatively easy, too. I expect it would be easy for modders to create them, but I really don’t know.

That is…an awesome idea. That sounds super fun actually. I have a fair amount of ideas stored in my head, but I got a party to go to atm, so Ill post em up later.

    1. A giant slaughterfest, invading a town and killing over 200 peasants that have locked themselves home so you have to break the door first.

    2. A true siege. Crushing fortifications with lots of catapults, using ladders to get up, ram to break the gate, siege towers to get in, kill all the nobles and then the king.

    3. Saving prisoners / slaves from a gold mine Indiana Jones style. Fighting on bridges, using minecarts to kill people, spill the giant water cauldron and set them free.

    4. And last I would like a two-way objective map where either side can push the objective their way and win, could be lots of fun!

  • Maze map!

Kill the king who is hiding somewhere in the maze! it should be complicated and confusing so you get easily lost, while having deathtraps around in certain areas.

    Additions:
    Ballistas/catapults
    Archer hills
labyrinth walls should be made of bones (YES!)
    Breakable walls in some places
Naked peasants running around (Preferably females)
Put a killable cow in there somewhere for extra points
Maybe put a lever that could change the maze
    More random fun stuff

  • I am over it, I don’t really expect TBS to add many more maps. I would rather them focusing on supporting mods. Mods are where the real innovation will come because the community can dream up cool maps.

  • Smear the queer.

    or.

    Smear the plague bearer.

One very overpowered fellow against a sea of normal fellows.

    Or.

Turn one guy into a massive dragon. The rest of the server are dragon slayers.

  • CLASS WARS
    VS.
    1.Archers
    2.Vanguards
    3.Knights
    4.MAA’s

    These MUST be added in.

  • A true siege map is surely the most important.

However I agree that at this point in time the best thing for TB to do is support the SDK so we can make our own mods easily.

  • Escort the VIP’s a very good idea.

  • King vs King map!!!

  • @Hitom:

    King vs King map!!!

    Need

  • Pretty much a remake of the popular AoC maps that haven´t made it yet.

  • I’d also love to see a new game mode: Survival/Hunger game mode. Medium sized sandbox map where you start your character with nothing and go around looting armor and weapons and full loot on other players. Please bring please please please…

  • rape the damsels in distress

  • I want more diverse and unique objectives like in AoC, like having to push siege towers to a wall, or like a fully destructible castle you have to siege with catapults and trebuchets.
