Why removing maa of the game?



  • just remove that absurd nerf

    Dodge speed reduced by 10%
    .3 cooldown on dodge.
    Dodge disabled during windup and release.
    Attacking disabled for the first half of dodge (attacks will queue instead.)



  • Come on, it’s not as bad as you think. Have you played MaA at all? He still performs just as well, but with a limited weapon choice (I’ve found).



  • Nah, I play MAA very often, and it still feels pretty good to me. Dodge doesn’t look like a super saiyan teleport anymore, you can’t spam dodge to compensate for you putting yourself in such a ridiculously bad position, and using dodge to get nigh unblockable attacks is now extinct.
    MAA is still the king of 1v1. He’s just more fair now.

    If it makes you feel any better, you can try dodging to the side and around of an enemy’s attack, and punish him for missing his attack with a couple combos to the back of his head.



  • MaAs were actually buffed massively this patch with the removal of combo feint parry. MaAs have always been about defensive playstyles and this game revolves around it now.
