UDK.exe has stopped working, please help.



  • So, I’m trying to help my friend with this, he just bought Chivalry (summer sale).
    The splash screen appears, but right after the game crashes and he gets “UDK.exe has stopped working”.

    Things we have tried (none worked):

    • Verify integrity of game cache.

    • Delete everything in “%username%\Documents\My Games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config” and then verify game cache again.

    • Run “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamGames\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare_CommonRedist\DirectX
      \Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe”.

    I’m attaching the dumpfile, Launch log and a DxDiag log (note: his comp is rather shitty but he should be able to at least start the game, right?).

    Hopefully you can help him!
