Update staying at 85% help please!!!

Chivalry is one of my favorite games. I bought the game on steam and been playing it a lot. Today I tried to update the game and it would stay at 85% and say “disk write error”. I thought it was my antivirus software, so I disabled it then tried to update again. Still the game doesn’t fully update and it says “disk write error”. Please help thanks
