[Score] Team wounding
I would suggest ONE negative score for every team wound = team damage.
Reason behind this is the fact that noobs tend to go group up and slash slash slash, wounding many teammates in process and maybe even kill some of them. I know it is not major issue if you stay away from tight grouped fights.
The problem with current system is 50% reduced damage from allies… so if you have ally and enemy and you hit both… you end up getting 2 scores for killing enemy and wounded ally. However if we change team damage to 1 minus score it would make: 2 score for kill - team wound - teamwound = 0 score for kill in total… or maybe -1 score if it takes 3 hits.
- Less team wounding on group fights
- Score would point out team damage dealers / griefers
- Unnecessary team wounding would be punished by score
- Noobs will repeatedly ask “Why I can’t get any score?”
- I would be nervous between allies
Another way to solve team damaging is to make team damage counter, like the “damage dealt” counter currently in scoreboard statistics… And you could punish 1 negative score for every 50% damage done. It would be more humble way to do it for my opinion, so you would need to be more careful if you have BIG weapon and lot of allies nearby.
What are your opinion guys, please comment ;)

Negative points for team killing is something that’ll definitely be in. I’d also like to see negative points for wounding a teammate, but only where the team attack possibly led to their death, like a negative assist - I.E. if the teammate you attack dies within a short period of time afterwards. Friendly fire happens and is sometimes unavoidable, and often not even the attacking player’s fault, so it’d be a little much to subtract a point for every team attack.
I assume there’ll be assists displayed on the scoreboard at some point, in which case I think it’d be nice to show both kills/assists and team kills/negative assists. Like
Score - Kills - Assists - Deaths
31 - 10/-2 - 20/-5 - 8
I think it would make sense to subtract a point or two if you deal say, 25% or more of a friendly’s total health, in damage. That way accidentally hitting a team mate won’t negate points, but if you ‘accidentally’ hit them multiple times without killing them, you lose points.
