Greeks, Romans, and Vikings, Oh my!
-
We may not know what’s coming up next, but we know what we want! Greek soldiers, Roman soldiers, and Vikings! And if anyone truly important reads this, please, PLEASE, consider the next warriors you add to the game.
-
Greek soldiers… We’re already getting the Spartans. But Vikings and Romans. Yush! That’s what everyone wants ;)
-
I believe knight was confirmed third warrior. Anything else i wish for is vikings ofcourse.
-
I think its almost definite that Viking will be one of the next, so it really leaves two more slots. As much as I like the Roman centurion, I wonder how different they would be from Spartans. They both use large shields, short swords and javelins, I wonder where the margin for difference would be.
-
Why do people want roman officers. Its the common post marian legionary we want.
-
It would not shock me if a slightly more modern class came into play. Pirate would be the most gimmicky choice, but from a gameplay perspective I could see it. You have a pistol as a secondary weapon with an absurdly lengthy reload, so you’re unlikely to have more than one shot. Or you could sub that pistol for things like throwing knives or perhaps some sort of dirty trick, like throwing sand that affects the player’s vision.
I think the most likely way we can get our answers is find out what other warrior types were featured on the show (since I’ve never watched more than one episode) and deduce which ones would work from a gameplay perspective.

We already kinda have vikings. Equip Mason MAA, pull the dane axe, hunting knife, and buckler, no vet helm, go third person. Come on now, tell me it isn’t uncanny, my point being that we already have norse weps. I would love vikings or something similar (Angles and Saxons and Jutes, oh my!) from the cold, dark north, but my prediction is that the remaining three will be Rajput, Pirate, and Apache. Which are cool, but if they’re doing this thing, they might as well go all the way an put in at least nine or ten characters.

Well, they just announced the lineup. COME ON, NINJAS? NINJAS? Overlap much???

Between samurai and ninja? Not really. The underlying martial arts are similar, but they use different signature weapons, armour and strategy. I’ll give you an example: samurai sword vs ninja sword.
Unless you were referring to ninjas vs pirates. In which case - LOL! :D

The first image… Vikings… is that one on the right… Dual-wielding?
-
I just want aztecs.
-
I, too, want Aztecs.
And dual-wielding would never work in the Chvalry, I don’t know wtf that is…
-
They missed the obvious sales opportunity of an Amazon.
Ninja is cool though - like a thief class, Samurai is obviously the best class.
Pirate was a bad choice - Roman Centurion would have been far cooler.

I second this. I just want a normal legionary, not an officer. Although if there was customization a centurion helmet would be a good addition.
I can just imagine how awesome it would be to get a clan of legionaries and form them up into ranks, beating back waves of pubbies with the gladius and pilla volleys…
