Who needs 3rd person?
-
when you can have this?
This is 1st person btw. It’s pretty fun running around with the bearded axe with this stance…
which in 3rd person looks like…
-
What on earth is your FOV?
There’s no point in having graphics with a view like that.

and this is why the Fov slider goes to 120 :P
looks like his Fov is around 170 to produce that

I guess that’s why some archers always see me when I sneak up to them to overhead their head off.
-
amusing, but basically useless. Depth perception on the outer edges of the screen is gonna be completely whack. good luck actually hitting anything with that.
-
I think I used 150 fov in these pictures, but the magic here isn’t the fov. Notice that in the second image I am looking down (as verified by the 3rd image) and yet I can see forward. I’m using a different viewing command.
edit: For reference, this is the normal camera with 170 fov looking down in 1st person.
Now THAT’S distorted.

This is why Torn Banner needs to cap their fov to something lower. Maybe 120, which was initially supposed to be the cap. I heard the developers weren’t aware you could change your fov through console commands so… they’ll probably cap it sooner or later.
-
You heard that from who?
Their is no way the devs couldn’t know fov could be changed with a console command. It’s intended.

anything over 130 and the game gets super distorted, besides OP already said he didn’t get this view by changing the fov, hes done it by changing something else.

Well once you get to about 290 its fine again.
Except for the fact you are upside down.
FOV 1000. Best, game, ever.
-
i think i did 170 last week, just messing about… and it feels like you’re running at light speed.

Well… I honestly didn’t think something like that could be overlooked.
It would explain why fov doesn’t go over 120 until the weapon is changed though.
