Sweet spot mechanic for onehanders

  • Feel like the damage difference shouldnt be so big on onehanders. I sometimes, even when completely outplaying someone, end up needing 5-6 hits to kill a knight (even with overhead headshots mixed into this), because you just have to get up close to someone to make sure you dont miss your attack (its very easy to force misses one 1h weapons with movement due to the high speed)

    Other then that its pretty good, i like this mechanic


  • Sweet spot for slashes is based on hitting with the middle of the slash, so it shouldn’t matter if you’re up close. That said, there are some weapons with noticeably off sweet spot tracers at the moment, the Sickle in particular which has overhead sweetspot tracers that are practically touching the floor.
