Computer crashing with sound loop

My PC keeps crashing with a sound loop when I’m using the server browser or just before joining a game (loading). Also server filters seem not to work anymore.

Windows 7 x64-based
Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 ti
Intel Core i7 2600K 3.4 Ghz
8 GB RAM memory

All specs of the game are set to their max
