Servers not working after update.



  • Hello,

    Im wondering how i can get chivalry to work again, since the recent update the servers i host have become unavailable.

    I have tried downloading the dedicated server files through steam and steamcmd(220070) both options download the files but the server does not start.

    My server is running windows server 2012 and im using tcadmin, i want to reliterate that the servers were working prior to the update about a week ago.

    The executable is:
    Binaries\Win32\UDK.exe

    I am using the following commandline:
    AOCTO-Stoneshill_P?steamsockets -Port=7778 -QueryPort=27016 -maxplayers=10 multihome=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -seekfreeloadingserver

    What am i missing?



  • If your using tcadmin, can you not perform a game update from here?

    What happens when you try to join the servers? (Do you get a server has different content type message?)



  • I have performed updates via tcadmin and it updates fine.

    When i tried to connect through console it says:
    Server failed to redirect to steam sockets URL

    I have removed the:
    ?steamsockets

    Part of the commandline and the server now starts and you are able to connect through the console but it does not display on the public server list.
