Changing player camera and render settings to support the Oculus Rift



  • I own the dev kit and would love to play chiv with proper support. I’m willing (and might be able) to do this myself but I was wondering if things like decoupling the camera rotation from the body rotation, adding new input devices, and altering shaders are possible with the SDK. I don’t want to sink a bunch of time into learning the SDK, if this isn’t possible.

  • I know that the devs have an occulus rift so maybe they figured out some settings that work best with it for Chivalry.
