They are pretty much melee range, they will travel further than your weapons as a Ninja but I have best compared them to being around a spear’s thrust distance, though their have remarkable splash.

Although i can play perfectly Medieval warfare, deadliest warrior’s performance is really awful and i am sure it has to do something with the fact that it runs on 64 bit.
