Is the SDK easy to use?

  • Exactly what the title says.
I have messed around with UDK a little bit in the past, but currently I don’t even remember the camera controls. If possible, I plan on making a few nature-styled maps(less medieval structures, more forest/mountains etc) and I was just wondering how difficult this would be.

It’s not TO though, only LTS and TDM.

  • It takes some playing around so id set a day aside to get started. Not too complicated if you are a bit tech savy/ can understand such things well. Give it a whirl :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll probably give it a go next weekend, see how it works.

Terrain/landscape’s texturing is probably my main concern; it’s the sole reason I gave up on using UDK. It was just too damn complicated while there were countless easier solutions I could think of that the UDK simply wouldn’t allow.
