A problem with Age of Chivalry, developers please have a look
Hello. Its been a while since I’ve been on TornBanner’s forums (and my name has gotten a nice little addition to it :witless:)
I hope this is an appropriate place to post this.
Anyways, there is a problem with Age of Chivalry which began yesterday. Every time when someone tries to join a server he gets the “Invalid STEAM UserID Ticket” error, because of that only one working server is left. I know at least 5 people who are experiencing that problem and it all began around the same time. I tried deleting the clientregistry.blob file, the config.vdf and even the userdata folder. None of those solutions work. Restarting a server doesn’t help at all neither (at least for our server) and for that brief moment when admins (myself included) get to join the server, Source commands won’t work.

The developers can barely fix this game do you real think they intend to put effort into something they can’t pull profit from? Prove me wrong devs and help this poor lad.
Can you try moving your /steam/config/ folder. (you can move it back later if this doesn’t work)
Open steam, it will redownload steam and trigger an account security thing from Steam which requires you to verify your Steam account.
See if that clears the issue
Before you delete it from your pc you could try verifying the cache on steam
Seems to be an issue that crops up in other Source based games as well. Try some of the solutions from this thread:
