Custom map problem? why is this happening
ok so this is my dilemma,
I test 2 custom ffa maps one at a time and get the same result.
the name is 1st in the map list and in command line, I start the server and it shows up right and lets me join the custom map fine, same thing with both maps, ffa met arena and ffa lava arena
however when I throw them in my full normal map list, when it should be next in rotation it skips right past them like they weren’t there.
how does this make any sense?
they work fine on a solo test online but not when in a map rotation,
I have deleted the folder/files for both of them and re downloaded and reinstalled them on the server and retested but get the same result.
I even got the creator of met arena to update his map yesterday and it still happens.
any ideas why this is happening?
Can you post the server config?
Can you also log into the server as a client, do the GetServerRotation command in the console, and post the results?

The one with the map list, PCServer-UDKGame.ini

Oh, ohhh, crap. I bet I know that this is. Blergh.<br /><br />1. Delete UDKGame/CookedSDK/<Your mod’s name>_<GUID>/<YourMod’sName>.ini<br />2. Restart the server

ok that seemed to work when just those 2 are in rotation, its playing both of them only.
ill throw the whole maplist in and test that to be sure.

ok ive tested them with the full map rotation and it plays arena3 1st cause that’s whats in my command line and map list, but then it just plays those 2 custom maps over and over, so its really is confusing as why this is happening lol

it turns out that whatever map list you want to run is what you have to have set when you install a mod I guess.
anyway it works now and maybe this will help others in the future.
