Chivalry Launcher Problem

Gotta a friend who cant get into my server.

Problem 1: His chiv launcher gets stuck on finishing steam tasks.
Problem 2: Everytime he tries to join has has to redownload the map; but it always just freezes on him, crashes, or gives him an error.

We didnt have this problem before the update. He has already reverified cache/ reinstalled the game etcetc. any help here?

Try some of the solutions from this thread.

He may have to delete his SDK folder and start from scratch there.
