Is there a way to report players?

  • They don’t want to maintain a banlist. And you also need to restart every server to add players to the banlist. There are timed bans. You don’t have to manually remove people from the banlist just add them. It only requires 1 of you 8 moderators to maintain it.

People who TK the king. The king is dead your game already ruined. So you can only votekick next game. A large chance it will fail. You yourself could be kicked if it fails. Even doing the kick whole they are teamkilling the king the other team may not be very honourable.
and if they are kicked? They come back the next day and the next day and the next day and the next day… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA5VP3mh8fI

  • griefers are gay just perma ban them from the official servers

  • This post is deleted!

  • this is certainly a life threatening issue.

we don’t need to restart servers to add them to the global list. The global list is maintained separately and subscribed servers opt into it by having the following in their pcserver-udkengine.ini

Search for: [Engine.Engine] then look for GameEngine=Engine.GameEngine under that.

    Change the Engine.GameEngine to AOC.AOCGameEngine
(For example: GameEngine=Engine.GameEngine will be changed to GameEngine=AOC.AOCGameEngine)

    Then add in above [Engine.Engine]:

    [AOC.AOCGameEngine]
    bUseGlobalBanServer=true

  • Well then why is banning greifers not a thing you do?

The whole point of a global ban list is that its global. What exactly is the point if its not enabled by default?

If TB started adding anything but hackers to the global banlist I would be removing it from games.on.net servers immediately

I thought they also added people for excessive racial abuse, etc.

It’s global on all official servers. Clan servers have the option to enable it, just like they have the option to de-rank and play without VAC. Not sure why they would though

True. Didn’t realise we used the global banlist.

But yeah they have added people for severe abuse. The again how many of those people would have less than 200 ping to Australian servers anyway.
