Firepots are flinching again



  • MaAs should be dead if they’re caught in melee range with a firepot out.



  • Firepots & Smokepots can flinch only on direct hit.



  • I’ve been getting flinched by running into the pool too, though.



  • So satisfying to interrupt someone’s maul overhead with a smoke pot.

    But yes, I could swear I get flinched from time to time by just standing in the pool as well. Something just isn’t right about it.
    Or maybe it’s the obnoxious fire blindness screwing with my judgement.

    Maybe flinch in release feature has something to do with it.

    Nah, it’s just weird-ass mechanics.

    If you have been damaged in that life before, fire pot AOE will flinch you too.

    Same thing with falling damage, if you have been damaged in that life before, taking falling damage will flinch you.

    Clearly you should never get damaged, this rewards skillful play and minding your footwork so that you don’t fall off things.
