Hit Detection



  • I know you guys are moving over to the UDK, are you going to still be using tracers in an arc to determine hits? Or is there a better way to do it in UDK?

    We’ll actually be addressing this later on in a detailed developer diary video but for now I’ll tell you we have changed the hit detection system to be fully representative of where the weapon is in real time as opposed to the manual approximation method used on source.
