normally when you get king and declining it bugs out and are forced to be king you can type reconnect in console while you are spawned as king and it will be passed off to someone else

well today i typed reconnect as i was in the process of waiting to respawn as the king and came back into the server finding that it never got passed on to anyone

there was no king to kill therfore the enemy could not win

Something similar happened. The guy going to be king left the game.

The marker stayed on the dead body of the person who left. You can’t kill a dead person.
