Post Process FAA No more jaggies.

I found this mini tutorial that I wish the Devs would do and rebuild all the maps. Palisades and an pattered straight edges twinkle and shimmer so bad in every map there is very little anyone can do to smooth them out. Trust me I have tried with every combination of GPU and in game settings to INI tweaks and cannot get the edges smooth. Hopefully this trick will help all the current map designers and maybe the devs will see this too….

I added that to one of my maps and it doesnt seem to take effect at all

Maybe you missed something. It seemed to work in the video and I would love to see this worked out for Chiv because the AA is horrible specially for patterned items in the distance. I Finally go some of the close up stuff to stop twinkling with jaggies.

I’ll try doing it in the real UDK to see if it does work.
-
Hmm it works perfectly in the UDK thats really odd.
Chiv SDK doesnt seem to like it.
-
Not really odd if you think about it, not much works in Chiv compared to UDK. Go figure.

Doesn’t the UDK Editor launch with DX11? Maybe that’s one of the reasons…

You used an indefinite article, does that mean you’re working on multiple maps?

Technically yes.
