I know but that doesn’t matter to people. Saying “please vote for this” is begging whatever way you look at it. What it can make people do is feel jealous or have a pathetic opinion on the one advertising and on what they are advertising. If you ever wondered what I do for a living I recruit and manage channels and sub networks for a larger YouTube network. I won’t say who and no don’t anyone PM me about partnering your channel with this network. But yeah the same principles apply here in an online environment. Especially among gamers who are a different and volatile breed of consumer.
Really though I think shard is trying to get his channel noticed a bit more. Which is fine. And he did it in collaboration with your workshop item which is encouraged. Its just the way he presented and worded it here which is the problem.

I am not begging anyone.
I am simply asking people to take a look at the skin and upvote it if they want it in the game, cause they might actually like it.
And if i wanted to “promote” my channel i wouldn’t have posted a skin showcase video but something that is entertaining to watch.
I am simply doing this to help out a friend who spent time making this skin. (bet you never had a situation like that though.)
If you can’t understand that, well then there’s not much to talk about.
