Open Challenge to ℜangэгs [Σ vs. ℜ]

  • Hey, it is Rσα∂Ŧαff¥, co-leader of the Immortals:

I am here today to redeem the once respected name of Immortals that has been tarnished.
The ℜangэгs have spoke openly against us and made clear about what they think of us.

Well, I, along with the rest of Immortals, think it is time to end this. So we challenge you to a to a 6v6 2/3 TO scrim that will be played by tournament rules. The map pool will be Darkforest/Hillside/Stoneshill and will be determined by a kendo.

This will be played on your server and I invite everyone to spectate. (6 + 6 + 12 = 24) We can have up to 12 spectators in the server and I would prefer that we have a couple streamers.

Also, some of you Rangers complained about me? Well, to make this even more interesting, the losing team will have to give up one of their best players for good. Post yours in the comments below.

THE MATCH WILL TAKE PLACE THIS SATURDAY.

  • Better would have the losers best member become members of the other clan.

  • Lol, I’ll ref.

  • This post screams “I am 12.”

  • No, this is the most anticipated match of the year.

  • Waterboy, we are taking this seriously. I apologize for the state of this current post … I was in a rush. Ill clean it up later.

    Thanks,
    Rσα∂Ŧαff¥

  • Lol, this would be fun to watch

  • But…you have a Rangers recruit tag on your Steam name…I don’t understand…

  • @439d0:

Too bad neither of them have any good players…

  • Nah, that was just a joke. xD
    It is off now.

EDIT: Ill talk to their leader to determine a time! Ill post the time so you guys can watch.
Spectators are welcome!!! The more the better.

  • @MapleSyrup:

Not sure why my reply didn’t post.

First few posts require approval. Yes I wish there was a notification to that effect as well.

  • Actually. Ive changed my outlook on this. I don’t want anything to do with this, for good reason. I believe many of the other Rangers are tired of this childish nonsense as well. This will ultimately just bring more malice and fuel to the growing rift of the competitive community. We should all come together, play competitively for enjoyment. Not for who’s the best clan, who can triumph, if we win you have to do this, etc etc etc… Im out, I don’t want anything to do with this ongoing hostility. Best luck to your clan Ham and Taffy. Hope you guys grow up and realize its a game, not real life.

  • UPDATE: Jared sent me this message:

9:35 PM - ℜ | Jaяэḓ39 | Ѫ: Hey, I saw your post … It just seems childish and immature to me. I bet it would be a fun event to play and for people to watch if there wasnt so much hate behind it.
9:36 PM - ℜ | Jaяэḓ39 | Ѫ: So how about we do it without the dumb terms and have some fun?

I don’t know why he wouldn’t just post here but it seems there are some negotiations to be done.

I believe he didn’t post it because there’s really not particular reason to make speaking about the matter between leaders public, not saying you shouldn’t or anything but. Anyways Rangers leadership and a few members have agreed it’s pretty petty to make terms for the loser to fulfill, and also making this decide your “Reputation” even though winning a scrim has nothing to do with it. I personally am cutting off any contact w immortals besides this post, as I am tired and bored by the nonsense. We have no qualms with a scrim for fun with spectators and streamers. However we don’t wish to take part in any terms due to the outcome, or stating that your reputation has improved because of them. If you guys wish to improve your reputation with the competitive community you should cease the childish behavior and toxicity, help organize things and improve the community as a whole, get along with everyone. Not like Sunday when Will filled in for me and you guys started calling him a “Useless Meta ****** like the rest of them”. I hope you realize you bring this all upon yourselves.

Isn’t stuff like this the entire problem? What’s the point of playing a grudge match that does nothing but tear more teams apart? I’m fine with honor battles, but the removal will lead only to darkness

  • Still no response from Jared39…… or any Rangers ;:;
