Unable to connect to any server



  • All the other games I use on Steam seem to work just fine when it comes to online, but Chivalry suddenly is unable to connect to any servers. I just wait for 5 minutes with “Please wait while game is loading…” tab is there. I’m not really sure what has happened recently that is causing the game to act like this. I’ve checked to see if Windows Firewall is blocking it, which it is not. Please I would really like to just play this game that I’ve payed for.

  • I also forgot to say I can get on servers from viewing them on Steam, but only a few show up, usually just one of them has players on them.

    I’d try the latter as easier to sort out: rename the \Documents\My Games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config to something else and startup the game. This will download clean ini files. You may want to copy over the udkinputs.ini etc., if you’ve made any custom changes to keybinds.

    If that doesn’t work, I’d try unsubscribing from the mods like giantslayers etc., then try again :)

    I tried the first one before, it didn’t work. I checked my DL content and only saw Deadliest Warrior, but I’m sure I’ve played giantslayers before. How do I unsubscribe from these mods?



  • You can do it via the workshop, it should show any subscriptions you have, then you can remove them from there
