Slight delay between a hit registers and when throwing axes, even on LAN?

  • Hello everyone. I used to play this game back in 2013, then made a long break and now came back.

    I remember hit detection being instantaneous back in 2013, your sword just made a contact with opponents body and there was a hit. Now, it takes a split second before that happens, you can usually see the hit after you are half way through cutting the body. Same delay is present when throwing axes. Is there something wrong with my PC or TB changed netcode?

    On top of that, my framerate is lower than it used to be as well. I could hit 60 fps easily on mostly high settings, now I have problems with hitting 60 fps even on low settings.

    Gigabyte x58a-ud3r motherboard
    8 gigs of 1333 mhz ram
