Official Bug/Glitch/Exploit Report Thread –- Share your knowledge

    Have you found a bug, a glitch or an exploit? Then please take a minute or two and share it with us so it can get fixed.

    Before you do that, please give an honest evaluation of your discovery and share all the relevant information.

    All bugs are being looked at, even if you dont see any Admin/Dev responses in this thread.

  • Broadsword and Shortsword have the same kill-info icon on the upright corner…

    The same is with flail and heavy flail - they both have flail kill info icon.

    The same with Short spear and Javelin - both indicate short spear icon…

    PS. How about all those bugs I ve reported for a couple of days in a previous thread which you have closed, have you considered them?



  • Instead of shield bash kill icon it is shown the equipped weapon kill icon… (for example my archer killed an opponent with round shield but the kill icon was heavy javelin)…



  • The HUD scale in options menu is not saved after the next map load or new game start or even the same match but some time later after several deaths. (I have 85% but every time the new map loads - it visually defaults to 100% in spite of indication of 85%, so every time I should rescroll the option to make aim smaller).



  • This post is deleted!


  • Dead Vanguard body model has multiple cut wounds on limbs in spite of it was killed for example via decapitation or arrow/bolt penetration. The dead Vanguard ALWAYS has these model wounds error and the previous model had these things even more obviuos.



  • To reproduce - take the secondary weapon and then again take a heavy flail… As a result you have one flail on your hand and another flail remains attached on the bodyside.

  • Please make throwables (knives, axes, pots etc.) disappear from the model side FOREVER (untill next resupply) after their running out, Because now we have a wierd thing as follows:

    You take a throwable weapon to your hand (knife/axe/pot etc.), it disappears from the body side - you throw them all out but after that they instantly magically appear attached to the model side in spite of they already ran out.

    It also true for bow/crossbow arrows and bolts in quiver. Make the quiver empty after ammo running out untill resupply at ammo box.



  • First person Vanguard animation does not coincide with its 3rd person animation when playing battlecry with Bardishe (or other pike kind weapon). It especially wierd when you are looking on your shadow playing battlecry - you see your right hand revolving Bardishe but a shadow revolves the same Bardiche in the left hand (or vice-versa - do not remember exactly).

  • have noticed a strange behaviour of crossbows after resupply at ammo box on different maps.

    On one map when you come to the ammo box with empty crossbow - you receive (let it be 30 ammo to the LIGHT CROSSBOW with additional bolts equipped) 30/30 ammo on the HUD. When you take a crossbow to your hands - it already appears ready to fire (the string is drawn and the bolt is loaded) so there is no need to reload it manually by pressing reload key. OK let it be like that, the crossbow is magically get loaded and no need to draw it.

    On the other map the situation is different. Imagine that you come to the ammo box with empty crossbow (your ammo is 0/0) - you receive 30/30 ammo on the HUD but the crossbow appears NOT DRAWN (it must be manually loaded). And here we have a BUG. Now, if you accidentally press a fire key with that unready crossbow - one ammo on the HUD gets disappeared. You can see 29/30 ammo there without actual firing. You did not fire that bolt in reality - you just pressed fire key on the empty crossbow.

    So, this is that bugged behavior of crossbows after resupply.
    Pls investigate and fix.

    Imagine you have 30/30 ammo. Press fire key to shoot. It becomes 29/30 ammo. DO NOT draw the string of the crossbow to load the bolt. Come to the supply box with empty crossbow. Get resupply to have again 30/30 ammo. Press fire key to shoot UNREADY crossbow… The crossbow shoots the bolt as if it was ready to fire (as if the string was drawn and bolt was loaded). Magic, isnt it?
    After shooting one bolt (29/30), then choosing secondary weapon, then resupply at the supply box to get 30/30 ammo, then selecting again the crossbow… and you can see that your crossbow appears drawn with bolt ready to fire so there is no need to reload it manually… One more magic.

    That is more to explain the broken mechanic.
    Fix is urgently needed.

    Sometimes you can retrieve from dead bodies of your enemies more arrows/bolts/throwables than you actually shoot/thrown. For example you pick up 3 ammo after killing the enemy with only 2 throwing spears o it is indicated on the HUD like “Ammo +3”.

    Pebbles and lead balls ammo have the same render models on the ground. They should be different as I understand, pebbles are rocky stones, lead balls are metallic orbs…

    For example I have mostly black colour shield (I can see it in 3rd person view). But after ive been killed - my shield becomes blue when playing death animation and falls blue on the ground. Its true for all classes.

    The same is with 1st and 3rd person view of yourself…

    Sometimes you can retrieve from dead bodies of your enemies more arrows/bolts/throwables than you actually shoot/thrown. For example you pick up 3 ammo after killing the enemy with only 2 throwing spears o it is indicated on the HUD like “Ammo +3”.

    This could be from the new feature. You can pick up other people’s throwables/ammo if you are using the same thing. Possible someone else tagged him too?

    **I extra pointed out that people should try not to do 10 million double posts + I preamtivly asked you in the PM. And now we have to clean up a bit.

    Edit: Merged some posts and deleted offtopic comments.



    • Choose Knight.
    • Take any shield and any primary two-handed weapon which can be used as one-handed (e.g. Longsword, Sword of war or Messer).
    • Appear on the map (you first time appear with sword in both hands and a shield on your back).
    • Press “1” key to take your sword in one hand and hold a shield on another.
    • Press “2” key to take the secondary weapon attaching the primary sword to the side.
    • Be impressed when pimary two handed sword disappear on you side.
    • Can also press “3” key to put the shield on you back and continue to be impressed of sword absence.

  • If choose Knight and take a shield and any primary two-handed weapon which can be used as one-handed, you can sometimes watch broken animation when pressing “1” key to take your shield from your back.
    The animation played wrong and you can see that the shield reverts the wrong way round.
    It works SOMETIMES and only first time after respawn when pressing “1”.
    PS. Maybe you should appear on that very map and on that very place shown on the screen.

    Every time after respawn, the bug is also seen when selecting the secondary weapon with shield:

    • take knight
    • take a shield and any primary two-handed weapon which can be used as one-handed
    • press “1” key to take your shield from your back and watch broken animation
    • after that press “2” key to take secondary weapon and again watch broken animation

    As ive already mentioned that bug is true only after respawn and selecting keys only once, because when you select the keys the second time and more - all becomes good…

    Bug happens not every time - the last time I watched it on free-for-all map…

  • SInce the latest patch, the game keeps freezing and crashing all the time for both me and a friend. Seems to work fine for a couple of minutes but then it just freezes and crashes to desktop.



  • Here you can see that a shield is disappeared (not attached to the model back) after pressing “1”, “2”, “3” keys in different sequences…



  • pavise always shows up as the ‘disabled’ customisation option while on your back.



  • Reiver Agatha Helm Open not showing as open for 3rd person perspective.
    I understand the helmet displays as closed unless withing a certain distance, but i would like to be able to see it open from 3rd person.

    This is a C rated bug.
