• I went into a cooked map, copied everything, then pasted it into a new map, but the lighting is different, why?

  • Lighting settings are part of the map’s World_info properties (under Light environment & Lightmass tabs) and are also mainly affected by DominantDirectionalLight properties. Colour can also be adjusted through the ExponentialHeightFog properties. Check those 3 parameters in the cooked map and copy them into your map if you want them to be identical.

  • And don’t forget to actually build the Lightmaps!
