MAA changes (Man At Arms)

  • The Man At Arms class seems to be a little slow at running, isn’t he suppose to be the quickest? yet a knight or vanguard are able to catch up to you quite easily, maybe even a archer if he wants to get the 50% backstab damage on you.

I just think he needs to be able to run faster. I mean, it seems like he running like the rest…not sprinting. Maybe you guys should add a sprint button for MAA that consumes stamina? or not…because he’s suppose to be a bit faster in the first place?

  • He is the fastest as is. But you can’t run from an enemy in this game. Persuers get a speed boost when chasing you. Its an anti-cowardice measure.

  • The MaA isn’t slow at all, if you want to go faster you can always burn some stamina by hitting V.

Man-at-Arms is 5% faster than a Vanguard and 10% faster than a knight - same speed as Archers, but he has superior strafing and backpeddaling speed, as well as dodge. A knight in full armor still isn’t going to be burdened enough that a lightly armored soldier could run twice as fast as him - the weight distribution is very balanced to hinder you as little as possible.
