SERVER PROBLEMS

Hi guys, I´ve just downloaded Chivalry Medieval Warfare from steam and for some reason when I try to play with others I don´t have any servers.
If anyone can help me with this problem I´ll really thank you.

@Txibon16 Are you certain you’re launching Chivalry Medieval Warfare and not Patch Testing for Chivalry?
Are you launching with Steam set to Online?
Is anyone else in your residence downloading or streaming while you’re trying to browse the server list?

I´m launching the game, not the patch testing, I´m in online mode at steam and as far as I know noone is doing anything that can ruin the server list refresh. I´ve read about this problem before but I wasn´t able to find the solution.

@Txibon16 Can you try reducing your Steam In-Game Server Browser Ping limit? https://i.imgur.com/ELv6HPG.png
(If you can’t see the Server option when right-clicking on the Steam app, you can enable it in Steam Settings > Interface > Taskbar Preferences)

The servers still don´t appear. I´ve changed the ping limit a couple of times to see if it works but still empty.

@Reithur Hey I finally fixed the problem, I changed one folders name and that work. Thank you for your help.

@Txibon16 I’m glad you’ve fixed it, but I’ve never heard of that before; can you please describe what you did?

@Reithur I changed a folder named “Config” from the Chivalry folder to “Config.old”. That fixed everything at least for now, I don´t know if it will keep working.

@Txibon16 I understand now; it rebuilt all of your config files when it couldn’t find them (due to renamed folder).

i think whoever has this problem needs to be sure they are NOT trying to play Chivalry thru Patch Testing for CMW. they need to have the real thing installed, for me, steam installed only P.T for CMW. then i saw this other thing in my steam library called Chivalry: Medieval Warfare that was not installed. now i have servers gallore … with patch testing you dont really get many servers :DDD none.
