    New build, new test focus! This branch is what we will be focusing on to present at PAX West at the beginning of September.

    With the recent changes to smooth out combat and server performance, we’d like everyone to focus on combat gameplay and abilities. We will be showcasing the Bazaar and SunkenCity maps at PAX West and need your feedback on these maps.

    If the server you are on is slowing down or not performing well, you can now use the admin exit command to restart the server.
    Our servers will restart themselves automatically now if they crash or if they are manually restarted.

    If you have not already done so, sign up to join our new Discord server; we’re moving the alpha testing group chat there, as well as providing a few voice channels for your convenience during playtests.


    NA Weekly Test Times
    Tuesdays, 6PM to 7PM EST (3PM to 4PM PST)
    Thursdays, 9PM to 10PM EST (6PM to 7PM PST)

    EU Weekly Test Times
    Tues, Thurs 6PM-7PM GMT.
    Sat 7PM-8:30PM GMT.

    AUS Weekly Test Times
    Tues, Thurs 6pm-10pm AEST.

    We would like to hear about the following;

    TO_Bazaar Test Focus:

    • Vault/Collision bugs
    • Anywhere you can get out of the world and not die
    • Anything you can get on top of that could be considered an exploit
    • Spawn wall and team spawn bugs
    • Any feedback on pacing, balance, spawn points, scoring
    • HUD elements for objective markers and progress
    • Is anything not clear or confusing
    • Misspelled text in-game or in ability descriptions

    Capture Point SunkenCity Test Focus:

    • Spawn timers; how do they affect this game mode?
    • Any vault or collision bugs
    • Anything you can get on top of that could be considered an exploit
    • Spawn wall and team spawn bugs
    • Any feedback on pacing, balance, spawn points, scoring
    • HUD elements for objective markers and progress
    • Is anything not clear or confusing
    • Misspelled text in-game or in ability descriptions

    General Questions:

    Our dedicated server app has had several memory leak issues fixed; how do servers feel to play on?

    What’s your favourite character class?
    What’s your least favourite character class?
    What’s your favourite ability?
    What’s your least favourite ability?


    Open Questions:

    What’s fun and what’s not?
    Thoughts on the game balance?

  • I’ve updated a playtest time for the NA team;
    Moved the second NA session to Thursdays 9PM to 10PM EST (6PM to 7PM PST)

    I will be using Discord’s notification system to alert regions when it gets close to a playtest session!
