C4KE from SP4CE recently made a topic proclaiming that the XCCC (X triple C) is looking for new members. A kik chat has also been set up for the community. This move, however, has had mixed reactions; there has been some praise but the XCCC is also taking some sharp criticism from some users, spanning from lack of a player base on the forums to denial of entry:

At the end of the day It’s a non-debatable fact that most of the members have a very hackneyed mindset towards the game, excluding newage ofc because hes very accepting of a plethora of aspects within the game he even accepts the invisible swinging bullshit.
Point being, you guys are trying to make yourself to be something you’re not. No one has experience or the means to increase the player base and overall activity, which is what you were founded for. So many people laughed at how serious you were taking this like it was a job interview lol. If you truly wanted the further betterment of the community you wouldn’t have denied bestintroll simply because he’s not in your clique or whatever reasons. You could’ve just gave him a remedial task of inputting players gamer tags that play similar games to Chiv and messaging them about the game, trying to increase the player base. Persons could also utilize redit amongst other forums and social media outlets to get more players. Now for activity you can give a reward to players who are very active, you can implement some type of newbie help system where instead of the new players getting teamed up on and ganked until they quit the game you would have someone teach the basics not included in the tutorial. You’d have a Xbox live club where you could invite new players and they could ask any question and you’d have community helpers who would help answer these aforementioned questions to the best of their ability.
There’s a spate amount of techniques you guys can implement that can help, however; you guys have yet to do anything but have some elitist profession application when there’s no money involved. And you deny possible members… no one in the xccc to my knowledge has experience in increasing a community. smh rant over. Do something to help Chiv grow. Until then stop acting so elitist.

Let me address two things before anything else.
Troll, the reason you were rejected is not simply because of your past. But simply how you are as a person. You claim to have matured as an individual but we all know that isn’t the case. The XCCC is a group of level headed individuals who have brought a wealth of time and experience to the game. I’m not saying being a salty goon would stop you from being part of the group because I am one of the saltiest guys around lol.
Yes, while it is true that you aren’t liked by a vast majority of the community. I do appreciate that little by little you are trying to change.
As for what the XCCC actually does for the competitive scene i cannot actually say since up till now it was something I couldn’t commit myself to due to work and other commitments etc.
As a final note and I mean this in the nicest way possible. You are very welcome (and so is everyone else) to voice your ideas/complaints to us regarding the competitive scene and we will take those into consideration of course.
But as gentle reminder, you are not a member of the XCCC.
So remove that from your bio please.

ARCHER CIVIL RIGHTS
There is debate over an archer’s role in clan wars and more specifically, kendos after @XSPARTACUSX expressed his view in the topic that he made about the subject:

Okay so clans play differently. We play more Team Objective, actually that’s all we do. A lot of other clans are usually strictly in Free For All lobbies. I suppose we could in fact just play more Free For All or practice on dueling. But a lot of you will strictly play Knight or strictly play Vanguard, but let me bring this point up: I strictly play archer. So if you strictly play your class, and I strictly play mine, you use melee as your advantage and I use range and stealth as mine. I wouldnt say its COMPLETELY a skill thing, I’d say if its me 1v1 against Homura or hell any of you, in a small circle with a cudgel that isn’t as effective as it was on the 360 is kind of bs. Hit trading is the worst thing about the one in my opinion because the arrows for some reason no longer one shot an archer unless its a heavy crossbow and my cudgel wont stop a knight with a messer he just has to swing at the same exact time as me and im dead af.
Not saying I haven’t killed any of you with a cudgel before
Last team standing is okay because I have a team, I’m allowed to have range and be sneakier. Some of you will say ‘well its not fair because you have arrows and you can kill me before I swing a sword’ Not true mfs I miss all the goddamn time. And you could tech use a shield.

Im packing my bags and permenantly moving to Star wars battlefront when chivalry takes its last breath…I finally found a game I’m superb at.
Self proclaimed best damn pilot in NA. Every fighter squadron match I join is a 90% garanteed 1st or 2nd place–No BS. And, I kill players only. I dont kill bots like yanni. >:D
