Can't join any servers



  • Hello, I’ve had this issue for over a week now pulling my hair out with it at the minute.

    Game was running perfectly and then all of a sudden i try to join a server and it just sits there on “please wait while the game loads”. Nothing happens on any server and it just sits there for about 5 minutes until it says connection has been lost.

    I’ve tried verifying steam cache several times, launching 32bit, launching UKD directly, disabling anti-virus, re-installed the game twice but to no avail and the issue still persists.

    I have no mods installed and the game is in its stock state.

    If anyone could shine some light on this issue as it is extremely frustrating. I have provided a launch log, first launch from a fresh install of the game and verify cache once downloaded as well.

    It looks like your game is failing to find assets it requires, but a reinstall or cache verification should of picked up on that.

    I’ll pass this onto a dev to try and resolve the issue.

    I’m currently on Win 10 64bit and game has been running perfectly since about a week ago.

    Have done a refresh of windows and re-install of steam, game and re-verifying the cache today and the issue still persists.

    Thanks for passing it onto a dev, hopefully my issue gets resolved soon then :).



  • Managed to sort it but if you can pass this information on to a dev that would be great.

    I use an ethernet cable on my motherboard, which is an Asus Rampage 6. I had it out and all the cable out recently to the game issue. Gave me an idea and i took the ethernet out the aquantia 10G port (which runs internet and joins servers fine on every other game I play) and plugged into the Intel I219-V Ethernet port. Possibly it was in the intel one first and i mixed it up when i came to put my pc back and connect it back up again.

    Now it connects to servers and games just fine. No change to internet speed as mine is only around 50mb/s anyway.

    Unsure why this would cause an issue, possibly a dev can update the game to support this? im not sure.
