Take the game off Steam if you're not going to support it
This post is deleted!
Since you obviously are putting all your time and energy into Chivalry II, you should have some morals and stop charging full price for the original, which is clearly no longer supported.
But you won’t, because there’s a sucker out there with $25 that you’re hoping to scam.
Go on, delete my post. Ban me. That’s how you deal with anything, right? Do it. Clean up my mess, janitor.
Obviously a small team would be focused on the new game and not the one which came out in 2012. However, there are still around 100 official servers for Chivalry 1 players and the game has been patched to keep it working after Steam made changes. It is still supported, just not updated with new content.

I cannot agree. Chiv dedicated server software has hardcoded “chiv1banlist.tornbanner.net” to ask for some informations about banlist. Torn Banner abandoned that server, just check if you can ping above address or even “tornbanner.net”.
This causes the dedicated server to time out and freeze the game server, because there is no response. Maybe coders at TBS didn’t thought they will abandon hardcoded servers?
The best solution to TBS problems would be to make Chiv1 Free-to-play, to gain more attention, which surely would help selling Chiv2.
@guiz Yes, the game is almost dead, the game could be revived for a couple of years by introducing F2P, while doubling the number of clothes per donation…
