Overtime (on objective) and other stuff that needs changing (in my opinion)
Since the first Beta was just active I think I will put in some toughts on stuff that needs changing/adjusting.
I only play objective mode so this is where my coments are about.
objectives need overtime , examples ;
When mason need to capture and hold the town center, if the mason’s are ON the town center and ARE capturing it, when the timer is running out, if it runs out at that point, NOTHING should happen yet, At this point, if Mason finish the capture, they win, if Agatha stops the capture, they win, and it should not say AGATHA win when mason is like 2secs away from capturing.
When on a map with for instance trebuchets needs to be destroyed, when the explosives are lit (especialy on the last trebuchets) and at that point the time runs out, it should NOT end the game, thats just stupid, at that point you loose when you let the explosives run there course, or other team wins when they are able to defuse.
When on a map with a king/heir , when the time runs out, on a random location a door/gate/boat arrives/ … somewhere and the king/Heir needs to reach that location to win. To many times I have been 1 , ONE !!! swing away from killing the king only to get a “defeat” because the time just ran out, no way that king was gona live :)
Other issues ,
Auto team balance has to GO (or be tweaked)
More than one’s I have been switched team 10sec before becomming king !!!
More than one’s (and again last night in the beta) I have been typing “good work everyone” only to hit enter and to realise I have been switched team 5 seconds before we where going to win (and now I loose !!! )
When the teams are unbalanced , you should send a message to 5 random people asking them if they want to switch (first one answering gets switched) or if one team is loosing hard, send a message to the top 5 people on the other team, like “hé, you seem to be awesome, wana go help the other team , they are strugling”
but for the love of god, stop the god damn auto team balance, especialy when the game is about to end, and I know at that point some people leave and that triggers the idiotic team balance.
- I prefer not having bots, they are just stupid meat for the meat grinder, that should not be added to team objective.
Please add official servers with 100% team damage, I would love to have to play extra carefully (more realistic)
On the team damage note, add a timer to Fire bomb team damage,
if I trow it ON to a team mate, sure fine me 100% for team damage/kill
If I trow it close to team mate and he runs in to it within 1-2 seconds, sure give me team damage/kill.
But like last night, if I trow fire ON TO 5 ENEMY’S burning them to hell, and than 20 seconds later my idiotic team mate runs in to that fire that is still on the ground and dies, do NOT give me -75 score for Team kill !!! thats just stupid !!!
expand the range in with you get points for standing in a capture point/ram/… because now you can not go a bit away to stop the enemy from closing in , only standing at the objective doing nothing gives you points :( that would also encourage people to stay closer to the objectives and fight there , and not on a random spot on the map.
Add a nemesis mode, I would love to see where the guy that just killed me is (or killed me a lot) and hopefully challenge him to a duel :)

I would have to agree with the overtime examples you provided. It makes sense that if a team currently has advantage on a task, the timer should remain until the task is complete or they lose that advantage.
I understand the need for auto-balancing, but also agree that it needs tweaking. Nobody should be forced to change over to the losing team in the last few seconds, after having put all their efforts into the other team. I don’t think sending a message would help to be honest, at least not alone. Having that as an initial attempt, then the current system as a backup in case nobody answers the call should be suitable though, with a buffer to prevent being switched too close to the end of the game.
I quite liked the bots to be honest. In a group, with another player or two, they can actually be relatively useful. The idea of not having them count towards kills in a team deathmatch sounds like a good idea though. It’s far too easy to farm them for a win rather than spend time fighting real players.
Can’t say I used fire bombs, but I would have to agree with that too. Some fool running through fire shouldn’t count towards a team kill. Count it as suicide and deduct points from the player who thinks it’s a smart idea to run through fire instead, or give the kill to whoever caused the most damage to the player prior to that.
I have to disagree with your capture point/ram suggestion though. You can’t push a ram from a distance, and you can’t capture a specific point from a distance. It makes sense as it is. You can wait in the capture area and let the enemy come for you, or you can take a moment to stop capturing to kill enemies. I see no issue with that how it is now.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a nemesis mark on the last player to kill me, or player that’s killed me the most to be honest, but I’m not a fan of having a form duelling mode mid game, at least not on team based modes. Do that on duelling servers, or free-for-alls.
