Weapon Difficulty Unlock Scaling



  • While this isn’t really an issue, there’s been something annoying me whenever I go into a server.
    For example, it’s very easy to unlock a Zweihander as vanguard - the 100 kills go by very quickly as the class is built around taking on multiple enemies.
    On the other end of the spectrum, attempting to unlock the thrusting dagger is a tremendous feat, as both the Broad Dagger and Hunting Knife have very low damage and size and the whole weapon tree can be ignored if you use the Shortsword tree, which is significantly easier to unlock fully.
    My idea is that the weapon unlocks should scale on the difficulty of the weapon. I think this would help avoid a completionist attempting for hours and hours to unlock the whole tree of a hard-to-use weapon.
