What Performance Will I Get?
-
Yeah, I posted a topic a while back asking whether my laptop could run this game or not. The answer was yes, but can anyone guess what performance I would get running the game at high settings? Medium settings? Low settings?
Processor: AMD A8-3520M 2.4 Ghz Quad Core
RAM: 6 gb
HD Space: 400 gb
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6620G Integrated/AMD Radeon HD 7690M Dedicated (for crossfire)
OS: Win. 7 Home Premium 64 bitAny thoughts are greatly appreciated. :)

Bad. Your cpu is your bottleneck and will result in framerate issues on 32-man servers.

You would consider a 2.4 Ghz Quad Core bad?

Well, yes. I’m running a 4.5GHz i7 3770k, which is about 5-10 times faster.
I’m guesstimating that your fps will go down to low 20s in intense fights. How well do other unreal engine games run on your laptop?

A Quad Core @ 2.4GHZ is good.
BUT, a AMD Quad Core? No…especially not a APU series.
Your GPU is also weak.
I’d say low / medium at a very low resolution for 30-40FPS.

Well, I’m ok with running a game at low settings. Do you think that if I set everything to low but with a resolution of 1360x768 I would get at least 35 fps?

It’s possible. Game will look like ass though.

It will look like a minecraft mod. But if you don’t mind, then saddle up and ride!

Yup, I’m one of those people who care more about FPS than graphics. :D

Well, I bought it…finally. I get 35 fps. Huzzah!
-
Well… The game on highest settings looks like a 2004 game anyway so… It is just very bad optimization. Every rig produced/invented after 2000 should be able to play it. It is more resource hog than Far Cry3 - gtx 560ti at 950/2150 mhz and core i5 3570k ivy 4,6 GHz - that gives nr stability. But where Are graphics? Setting everything to high and1920x1080 doesn’t make it better.

That’s a difficult question, as I know some people with very powerful PCs that get awful performance.

Yeah, my laptop isn’t that great, but I bought the game yesterday, and I get like 35-40 fps on medium. Huzzah!

I wish I could be content with 35 fps lol. I wouldn’t need such powerful hardware then.
