Please give us back client side hit detection.



  • Especially for bows. For melee itsolves all hit reg issues. Bows are impossible to use with over 50 ping. Stabs and overheads are basically not worth using when chasing enemies because of server side hit detection. You have to use swings on running players as it is impossible to lead in the direction of which they are running without swings, as swings you can run beside someone and swing to compensate for ping, unlike overheads and stabs where you must attack from behind.

    No clientside hit detection basically destroys the playerbase as casual will see all their hits miss and they will leave the game, ultimately ruining America’s economy… If you arent client side hit detection first, you are America last.



  • Wouldn’t letting hit detection run on clients make it easier for people to hack?
