Parry Doubletapping and other suggestions
I would like parries to be exactly timed to mouse presses instead of having them be delayed and double tappable in any form. I don’t mash parry at all but clicking twice (not even quickly, mind you even at the 100ms option) should not get you 2 parries. Make it an option you can toggle so the people who enjoy this feature can have it.
First person spectator. Why isn’t this in already? Is it a UT3 engine limitation? I know Tribes:Ascend didn’t have it (do they still not have it? I’ve no idea) and since there will be cheaters first person spectating is one of the best ways to catch them. It also gives information on how players aim and you can learn a good amount from spectating good players.
Sensitivity setting using text instead of having a slider. You can adjust it to your exact needs in the console but it’s good to have a UI element of it anyway IMO.
Windowed borderless option.
Slight increase of strafe speed across the board. Movement feels sluggish to me and this might help alleviate that, of course this is more of a personal thing.
Option to toggle MAA doubletap dodging. When I sprint and strafe after it makes me dodge to the side or when I rapidly change directions it sometimes makes me dodge which is really annoying when I’m trying to hit something. I feel this kinda goes with the parry responsiveness, a game like this shouldn’t have sluggish inputs.
Having the game remember weapons between lives and remembering secondary/special weapons when going into character class selection/switching up primaries.
Fixing the animations so that recovery animations don’t happen when you get parried.
I support this suggestion. Frustrating to get an unwanted second parry and get hit.
Also frustrating to double tap the movement key and accidentally dash in a direction i do not want.
I agree with this.
Bumping this, doubletapping is quite annoying.
Bumping with some more suggestions.
