Simple, various ideas - HUD and gameplay

  • Some simple and various ideas I’ve had:

See your helmet in first person (Toggle-able) (Very unobtrusive, very minor actually), but more importantly, see if your helmet has been removed or not.
This isn’t at all to obscure vision, only to show you if your helmet is still there.

Multiple assists count as kills. Maybe you’re not good at last hitting, but helping the team is helping the team. Something along the lines of 4-5 would be reasonable.

Put the team color’s on the gloves. Very minor detail, but as your team’s color is usually readily apparent (And if you’re forgetful like me), you can remember at a glance. Running and tabbing is a great way to get Steam to get you killed.
(Such as an emblem or stripe, nothing major)

Way to disable or greatly minimize chat. For aesthetics, or if you want a break from your team complaining about archers.

Staying near objectives should reward you with points. If you manage being a knight who just acts as a wall to defend the king, you should still have some points to show you’ve been doing work.

Removable crosshair, toggle-able. For aesthetics if you don’t need it.

Possibly an alternate death-cam option.(?) Losing your head on a hill can be kind of disorienting, even a little dizzying.

  • Yeah, thumbs up especially for the helmet in the hud.
And being rewarded for “support” as well.

Some objectives give you points for standing near them. In Dark Forest for example, if you are an Agatha knight and you stand behind the cart of diseased corpses, you slowly gain objective points.

You can already disable the crosshair/center of screen with the ‘u’ key I believe.

  • View of your helmet sounds great.
About the assists- you acctualy are getting points added to your score for assisting and your overall damage done is counted as well, but making x assists act as a kill isn’t a good idea. Besides that, acting as a meat-shield for your king shouldn’t give you any particular reward, because why should it give you anything? You just sacriface yourself instead of your king. Maybe an achievement for taking the killing blow which was designed to kill your king would be nice, but not points for taking damage.

Taking an arrow that would have killed him would be epic.
