  • Simple textures that could easily be swapped via new patches or anytime via Steam/Desura/Whatever digital store you use

Locations such as options menu, loading screen, manual/in-game tutorial.

Age of Chivalry doesn’t have such a system, so, however will they find out about Chivalry? They won’t.

  • No. Can you imagine the immersion-breaking quality of wandering through medieval towns, and seeing an Axe ad or something?

No. This is a terrible idea. It destroys the look and feel of the game, it is obnoxious, and it makes the game look cheap and tacky.

He means on menus, not in-game, and this is probably a good idea if they’re not like the entire screen, would probably give them a few extra bucks.

  • Advertisements would just make the game menus look crowded, unprofessional, and cheap. :| The only reason to have advertisements would be if the game is free, but it’s not. Just imagine, you have this awesome menu with a cool font. The background menu is a moving view of the battlegrounds. All the colors compliment each other and create a visually pleasing atmosphere. Now coverup part of that cool, moving background with this:

Ya, no. :? Even if it was an ad for a game, just no.
