UDK.exe FIX :)

  • Here is a link to a video showing a fix for the UDK.exe problem…

This is in Portuguese, but you can see what I do and read the english description…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KBb6dIWj5k

  • For those as annoyed by me with people horny for hits on their youtube videos, here’s what his solution is, copy-pasted from video description:

"All you need to do is :

    Delete the folder in …\Steam\steamapps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\UDKgame\config
and verify the integrity of the game cache on steam, like i did in the video."

Next time, its faster to just write the “solution” in plain text rather than make annoying videos. Why would anyone watch a 6 minute video for something explained in 1 second?

  • thank you for being awsome and finding a fix. I did delete my config and verified the cache so it would redownload the missing file. I get the same results each time no fix to the UDK.exe …. It downloads it like it always does. I’ve also downloaded the game through steam 4 times

  • delete the entire config folder right*

    ?

  • You can look at a screen shot of my game and tell me if it has to do with the UDK.exe files. My nickname on steam is Metachron.

    Here are my specs.

    Processor: AMD Athlon 64 FX-60
    OS: windows 7
    Ram: 3g DDR
    Motherboard A8N-SLI Premium (939 socket)
Graphics: two SLI compatable Nvidia GeForce 6800 GS’s

I think that would be all you really need?
